The cassette tape is something quite analog that you haven’t seen in a really long time.

but cassette tapes were mainstream

We used to save up our pocket money to purchase the cassette tapes
of our favorite musicians, which we would then collect one by one.

friends saw buying one as an ideal birthday present.
